The following is a collection of recounts that students from room 11 did during their 2 week holiday break.
At Peachgrove Intermediate we are committed to providing our students with a stimulating two year educational programme focusing on continuous improvement of academic results. We also offer a wide variety of extra-curricula activities in music, sport, outdoor education and cultural experiences. Hey this is my recount
on the holidays,
mum brought me some fish i got a
puffer, molly, an allgey eater and another one. when we came home from the fish shop my sister was there she was there because she was moving out with her boyfriend Corin once she had left i got the stuff she didnt take with her.
In the holidays I went to the movies twice to see transformers 2
and ice age3.Ibought the bumblebee toy.when my dad had Tuesday off,my sister, dad, and I went to candyland and went to see ice age 3,and had subway in chartwell,I went to the movies with my friends Cam and Peter ,it was fun.
But other than those things pretty normal.
I got my friend Liam over for a sleepover,and I got invited to Bailey's house for a sleepover,then I got invited to Liams house for a sleepover.they were all on seperate days.
I had a good 2 weeks of my holidays.

In the holidays on the frist day my friend came back from Australia. We were played on the tramp and i keept doing back flips and then i did a back flip land then strait a way i did a frant flip land and my friend double bouned me off the tramp and it was scaarry as, but it was really fun
* In the holidays I went to the moveis to see Hannah Montanna with my cousins.My favourite part was the hoedown throwdown when she did the dance because it was fun to do.
My family and me went to the snow!
It was the best and I actually touch a bunch aof snow.But the sad thing is we have to leave early to go to Taoupo and my fett were very blue because of the snow.
At Taupo we went to all these cool places e.g Huka Falls,Lava glass and lots of palces.I can't remember cause we went to lots of places.
At Rotorua all we did was shopping and buying things because my mum
and dad loves shopping! My feet hurt cause I had to walk.
We had a break.The next morning we went to Auckland. But the boring thing is is we only went to this croc shop and Mt Eden.
Week 2 is very boring. We only stayed in the house and play outside.On sunday I was very exited to start another exiting term! :)
On da holidays me and my brother went 2 Auckland 4 3 days and stayed with our friends ,while we were there my brother and his friend went 2 see TRANSFROMERS and me and my friend went 2 seeHARRY POTTER 6.

I went to Auckland to visit my friends house for four nights his name was Yeongwon.
While I was there I went to the movies to see Transformers 2.
The next day i went to the pools close to where yeongwons mums work was, the pools were awsome because it had 2 hydroslides 1 you take 2 or 3 turns then you do a sudden drop.
I went to the movies to watch harry potter 6 the half blood prince and I think its the funniest one yet. I enjoyd the 2 and a half hours of watching it.
On the last day of school I did'nt come to school on that day because I went to Hastings because I had a Karate Tornment on Saturday.I was in the 12-14year old divison but there were only 4 people in my divison it was me and Joe Mann from room 9 and two other people.but Joe came fourth and I came First.
In the hoildays I went to Auckland with my Mum and Dad.We were going to go to snow planet but i didn't want to go skiing so we went to a luge in Auckland. I was so scared at first because I hadn't done it before. But I clamed down when we
started to go up the mountain it took eight mintues to get up there!!! And when got up there I almost fell off the thing
But it was COOL!!!
WIn the Holidays my grandmother was looking after me. We stayed at her house for the first week and watched moviesand played cards.The next week she took me to watch Hannah Montana the movie.I loved it.I wish I could have the dvd.
in the weekend i went to the beach for my birthday & my
brother & i went to the whangamata skatepark and i
dropped into the halfpipe on my skateboard
i also landed my first kickflip at the bach.
i went to a soccer (futsal) holiday programe
at lemington school hall that took one week.
we played heaps games and watched some movies
My holiday me and my family went to my cousin's house.On sunday when i came i saw Jowiria me and Jowiria went to the park.It was lots of fun and then we had to come inside but we were playing around.Then mum took us to McDonalds.
During the first week of the holidays for 5 days I stayed at my aunt's house and got to play on the computer and my Nintendo DS all day long! I also got to eat, drink and sleep whenever and whatever I wanted to. Yay for 5 days of freedom!
During the second week of the holidays, my friends came over to my house. We went on the computers, had lunch, played both of our DS's and played my Nintendo Wii. Since I only had Pokemon games and Wii Sports, one of my friends 'sports'ed his way to victory. But I've still got the silver medal! Better luck next time, dude!
The next day I went to my friend's house. They were busy watching some sort of TV programme, but I was bored, so I went off to borrow my friend's DS. (I have a normal DS, while my friend has a DS lite, which means that her DS is newer and the screen's graphics are better.) After that, she borrowed my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team (Level 100 Raichu and level 100 Totodile included. /I had to play the game for two years to get to the post-ending and train my Raichu to level 100. I only recently got my Totodile partner onto level 100. He was level 90, 98, etc. etc. before./) While one of my friends and I were busy DSing, my other friend was watching his father play some weird games on the computer. Everyone tried to get close to the heater. And, we drank my favourite drink; L&P. Delicious stuff!
In the holidays my mates and i went to Chartwell to watch transformers it was really loud.
Then in week two I got a new skateboard its a Element Chad Muska its a Yellow,Blue and Pink.I ollied a five step it was mean as until i fell off it hurt.
For the first week i wemt to my aunties house to stay for a week but at 5:30 that is when my grandma pickes me up to sleep.there the next week i went to this place where they teach you how to run faster and they teach you how to be stronger,i went there for two days.For the rest of the week i was at rugby camp, it was not that good,but i think it was still fun,So i think my week was ok.

On Sunday I went to the Zoo with my Aunty , her boyfriend , my sister and my two cusion's. I really liked the huge turtles there were 2 of them and they were HUGE. I also liked the tigers they were really cool!
In the holidays I went New Plymouth. It was MEAN AZZ!!We went to on this MASSIVE adventure park.Then we went to this skate park that was scaryy azz.My cousins friend did a backside spin flip it was awesome.My cousin and I tryed a kickflip.It was funny because we kept doing it the wrong way.
Then the second week we went to the beach at New Plymouth.I kept kicking water at my brother so he did a bomb.Then I got soaked. After that we went back to Hamilton.
On the first Monday of the school holidays my dad, Blake and I went to the movies to see transformers 2 .The twins were funny. Most of the movie was full on action from start to finish. There was a little monster track that was funny but not as funny as the twins.
The Saturday before school started Blake, his mum, his cousins, his uncle and I went to play in the snow. Blake and I went a hill on boogie boards knowing there was a rock at the end that we used as a jump. On Sunday we went back to the snow and it was like a blizzard because when the snow hit your face it hurt but it was still fun.
In the holidays i went to Sydney we went shopping heaps. We went to the aquarium and saw manities,sharks and crocodiles. Then we went to the zoo we saw kangaroos,gorillas,tigers and lions it was awsome. Every night we went to fancy resturounts to have dinner. We took the train to the oprah house and the harbour bridge. We went to Bondi beach it was awsome. That was my holiday in Sydney.
In the holidays on the first wednesday my Dad I left the house at 12:15pm to watch transformers. when we got to the cinemas, the movie guy told us our movie will not be on until 1:00pm. So while we were waiting, we went to timzone to play some games. We were in there for too long that our movie was only 10 more minutes until the movie started. We dashed out of timezone to get some movie snacks but as a result, we both had to wait in a huge line. After we got our snacks, we took the escalator to get to our movie. Once the movie started, I almost fell asleep because some of the parts were really boring. Butnevertheless, the movie was super cool.
Almost a week later,my Nan,my aunt and my cousin came over for a couple of nights. The next day my Cousin,Nan,Aunt,Mum,Dad and I all got ready to go tenpin bowling. when we began to play my Dad destroyed all of us. But had lots of fun with my 2 weeks of holidays.
On the first day of the holiday i went to the movies wiht drew and his friend cam. At the movies we were at the very front of the screen and we forgot to buy popcarn, drinks etc. At the end of the movie my ears couldn't hear properly and we went to timeout and played a shooting game.
Last week on Tuesday my sister, mum, dad and i went to TimeZone. I
played this shooting game and this game that yuo press a button to let the ball go and try to get the ball in a hole that has a number on it and that is how much tickets you get.
The last thing in my holiday was when drayton, my best friend came over for a sleep over. When he arrived we played computer games and games on the PSP. On the computer we played boxhead 2 play rooms, S.A.S zombie assult, boxhead zombie wars, powder game and heaps more. During the night we played PSP and soduku for about
two-three hours and then went to sleep.
The next day we played computer all after noon. at around three-o-clock i asked my mum if he could stay for another night and she agreed so he stayed for anohter night. That was my holiday
